The Sponsor and its role 

The Teachers Service Commission is currently the only participating sponsor for Scheme and carries the following obligations;

• Collect contributions and pay to trustees OR as directed by the Trustees.
• Appoint his representative in the Board of Trustees.
• Provides consent to changes in scheme rules by way of resolutions.
• Ensure that the Scheme is fully funded to take care of all the Scheme liabilities in the case of a Defined Benefit Scheme.
