The DB Scheme has 8 active members and by 2027 all of them will have retired. 
The fund value reduced from Kshs 1.344 billion as at 30th June 2023 to Kshs 1.340 billion as at June 2024.

The reduction in the fund value is because there are no new members joining the Scheme, there are no transfers into the scheme, and decreasing contributions as members withdraw or retire. 

The investment portfolio is mainly in low risk Government security and shares.
